I Miss Games

About

I Miss Games is five small arcade games that share one hero and one city. It is for the feeling of a cabinet light left on after closing, not for any one cabinet.

Vesper

Vesper is a dusk moth in copper goggles with a ticket-red ribbon. She is the same moth in every game: flying between lamps, running the midway, crossing the intersection, drifting the junk belt in a tin ship, riding the wet expressway. She is always heading toward a warmer light.

Afterglow

Afterglow is the city after the last arcade closed. The neon still hums. Each game is a different way through it: above the roofs, through the shuttered midway, across the rain intersection, out past the radio towers, down the expressway at 1am.

Original work

Everything here is ours: the games, the names, the art, the sounds. We do not host other people's games or names. There are no ROM loaders and no emulators. If a game reminds you of a classic, that is a cousin, not a costume, and each game's FAQ says so plainly once.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for. Your bests, the biomes you have found and your Circuit streak live in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. You can export them as a file from Your lights.

Sister sites

Benchmento is skill tests. I Miss Files is private file tools. Same person, different rooms.
